Two JCMU students attended “Alternative Bach— Listening one another Bach— ” lecture concert at Shiga University Assembly Hall on February 3rd. Several instrumental works by J.S. Bach, such as Sonata for Flute and Basso Continuo, Partita, and Keyboard Suite, were played at this concert. A unique thing is, the performers played the historical instrument; Theorbo, Harpsichord, and Flauto Traverso, which were played in baroque period. It was the first time for two students to listen early instrument’s sound, and they had a chance to ask about the instruments to the performer after the concert.  We really enjoyed this interesting concert.
